Are you an organisation, partnership or group with a dream or vision? Are you wondering how to enable your project to grow, how to work well alongside others, how to collaborate and connect better? Drawing on a wide-range of roles I facilitate and connect using influences from asset-based development, open space forums, holistic leadership and various project management models.

I can support with: programme design, delivery and strategic coordination, community engagement/participation, evaluating and evidencing social value impact, stakeholder mapping, creative visioning, facilitation and bringing partnerships/groups together to collaborate on holistic solutions. I have specialist expertise at the intersections of health and therapeutic social care, nature recovery, community wellbeing development and green social prescribing. I was nominated as Young Leader of The Year (National Awards 2015).

My approach draws on 15 years experience working with activists, leaders and organisations cross-sectorally. I advocate for community togetherness and harnessing all the innate knowledge within a place and people to inform inclusive systems design; I seek to work in ways that are anti-racist and decolonial.

I am interested in supporting organisations to transition towards systems and approaches that benefit all.

“Sophie is a skilled facilitator - she is dedicated + committed and uses creative ways to engage the most under-served hard to reach communities and individuals of all ages. She has in-depth experience of community and group development. She is an excellent collaborative worker and natural connector at strategic partnership and grassroots levels.” (Lesley Nel, LiveWest Senior Manager)

“It has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside Sophie over the past few years. Her energy, passion and light shine through in all that she does and she achieved so much in coordinating health and nature-based organisations/ strategies across the SW. She brings much warmth and authenticity. Everyone I speak to says how totally brilliant she is and I whole-heartedly agree.” (Steve Mewes, Somerset Wildlife Trust)
